Dumpoke has been in full force this past week, opening up our very own pop-up shop, featuring all screen printed t-shirts, tote bags, posters, zines and badges. From doodles to tractors, the designs varied and looked fantastic on the items. As well as the shop, we had paint poured on our heads and a new website is currently being built. I’s all happening! For now, enjoy these photo’s of the Dumpoke shopping experiance

Cardboard – it’s all the rage

I’ve come to realise that my house mates and I buy too much stuff off amazon. Our cardboard build up was getting a bit silly, so what better way to recycle the stuff than to use it to draw on. I had enough to make a family. And give them a pet snake. After all, a pet snake is for life…

Exciting week ahead, with dumpoke starting to really come together, in a branding and online sort of a sense. Website should be up early this week, together with an online store and other joys. Watch this space. And if you’re in uni on Tuesday, pop down to S2.06 for our pop up shop we’ll have going on

Out Of Order Returns!

It was only late December when Out of Order’s debut at the Matrix nightclub rocked Ripon to a near state of shock. Now it’s Easter and the uni type’s return for food and skytv, it’s back. So here is my new poster. Enjoy.

Dumpoke for Shellsuit Zombie!

Dumpoke get’s it’s first bit of press, thanks for those good folk over at Shellsuit Zombie. First got in touch with them at they’re ‘VS’ event held last month, and one thing lead to another (about 343534 emails via the two parties) let to SSZ describing us as “like Megazord from Power Rangers but better”. Brilliant.

Above is my design for their logo, which they asked dumpoke as a collective to make some designs.

My shed is now a magical forest land

My first attempt at a stop motion has gone/going fairly well. This was my shed the other night. Lots of paper, blu-tac, batteries for portable radio and three hoddies worn all contributed to this being made. Finished thing to be put up very soon.

Gareth, Simon and I went at the studio walls last week with paint and pens, giving it a refreshing splash of colour. A Good time was had!

Blurbing my shift

Working where I work, in the kitchen of Dishs, I have loads of fun as it is. But when I took my camera in for a couple of days, I came to realise that kitchens aren’t just a place to make food, but have got too many good photo opportunities to keep me focussed on the cooking! So above is a few spreads of the book I made with the help of blurb.com documenting a shift in the kitchen.

I also want to give a shout out to 02 for being my muppets of the month. I have been internetless now for about a month now thanks to various external factors (you know who you are) and 02 for their piss poor banter about exchanges and things I didnt know exsisted. So, well done 02.. Muppets of the Month.
